Slmco Pure Water Systems was founded in 2005 by Dan Zemel. Dan, while living at his home in Bald Point, Florida, became concerned with his available drinking water. Having past experience with marine desalonization units, he designed and made his own personal water filtration unit. As always, one thing leads to another. seeing the need for a portable system led to a series of smaller and smaller units using tightly packaged components. The final result being an entire family of lightweight, portable water purification units. These units are capable of sustaining a substantial amount of people with high quality, purified water using any polluted fresh / brackish source. The SLMCO system has gone through riggorous testing including Aberdeen Proving Grounds and NSF-Protocal P-248.
